Donald Picotte
About
Responsible for the CCMM-CSN’s LGBT+ committee since 2006 and a member of the CSN’s national LGBT+ committee since 2000, Donald Picotte is the initiator of the “Ni plus, ni moins, comme tout le monde” training offered to CSN’s union stewards. He has been the Fondation Émergence’s governor since 2015 and is a member of Fraichement Jeudi’s board of directors. He is also the president of Trans Mauricie-Centre du Québec’s board of directors.
Advocating for LGBT+ rights since the 1990s, Donald has organized the LGBT+ workshops at the Forums des peuples d’Ottawa and Montréal and has been a guest speaker for union groups in many countries.
