Élyse Bourbeau
About
Élyse Bourbeau is a mathematics teacher in high school. As the third vice-president at the Alliance des professeures et professeurs de Montréal, she takes care of files related to social mobilization, environment and LGBTQ2S+ people’s rights. She has been a member of the LGBTQ2S+ committees at the Alliance and at the Fédération autonome de l’enseignement. As a trans woman, her main concern is to educate the population, specifically workers, to the realities of her community in order to create workplaces that are open to diversity.
