Fierté Charlevoix

An organizing committee made up of community organizations representatives as well as LGBTQ+ people was created last spring with the objective of organizing the first awareness week in Charlevoix. The members of this committee are supported by the Alliance-Arc-en-Ciel and GRIS-Québec. Representatives from these two organizations as well as some from GRIS-Montréal and from GRIS-Chaudière-Appalaches will be present during the week to offer workshops and conferences to youth from the area. This event is financially supported by Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi de Charlevoix-Côte-de-Beaupré. The organization is supported by Les Caisses Desjardins de Charlevoix, Développement social intégré (DSI) de Charlevoix, Table d’action préventive jeunesse (TAPJ) Cap-Jeunesse, ministère de la Culture et des Communications and Fierté Montréal. The support from these numerous partners has allowed us to hire an event-planning consultant who is in charge of planning and coordinating the activities.
