Sophie Desjardins

From the moment she realized she was trans, Sophie began questioning many things that she had up until then taken for granted in her life. This path led her to end her teaching career and go back to school to study sexology, a field she quickly fell in love with. Her politics being already progressive then, these changes also led her to become more involved in activism. Soon to be an intern at Aide aux trans du Québec, she believes that difference and diversity are some of the most beautiful and essential things in human beings and she is ready to fight, metaphorically speaking, of course, to protect this beautiful richness that some are trying to erase.
