To Be a Lesbian and …: Inclusive Perspectives on Lesbianism

kimura byol lemoine, Sophie Desjardins, Marika Robert, Alex Lacelle, Juno Desjardins & Sam Asselin-Mailloux

Hosted by Tara Chanady (Québec Lesbian Network) and Kim Forget-Desrosiers (Aide aux trans du Québec)

Reflecting, from an intersectional perspective, on the lesbian experiences involves taking into account the diversity of experiences, as it relates to gender, age as well as cultural and racial belonging. The lesbian identity encompasses many complex identity questions: within our very diverse community, many perspectives are included. As a plural community, we are facing many questions around the definition of our collective identity—it is important for our differences to be considered as a source of wealth and exchange. Come and hear lesbians share their reflections in an open and respectful space.
