Tara Chanady

Tara Chanady is Québec Lesbian Network’s executive director. She has also been a researcher on lesbian, bisexual and queer issues as part of her doctorate in communications and her post doctorate in public health at Université de Montréal. Her research, publications and presentations discuss Québec’s lesbian, bisexual and queer communities’ identities, spaces, media representation and mental health. She teaches gender and sexuality issues to communications undergrads. Tara proudly defines herself as a lesbian, a gouine and a dyke.
