Supernature is an event celebrating the whacking.waacking dance and clubbing community in an electrifying setting. Become one with the dance floor to the exquisite orchestrations of disco, the up-beat chords of house music, and the transcendent rhythms of techno. Whacking.waacking was born in the queer, black and Latino clubs of 1970s Los Angeles; Supernature revives this flamboyant, performative style of dancing with its roots in funk, disco, and house. Having nearly gone extinct from its natural habitat, this vintage-yet-timeless dance form returns to its birthplace: the nightclub.
