Festival Massimadi

The Massimadi Festival, the must-attend event for Afro LGBTQ+ films and arts in Canada, invites you to celebrate the fall season with its 16th edition, presented by TD, taking place from October 23 to 27, 2024. This year, the festival offers a bold and inspiring program, featuring 15 powerful films that celebrate Afro LGBTQ+ voices from both here and abroad. New this year, a $1,000 grant will be awarded to the film that wins the audience vote. Whether in person or online, this edition promises unexpected discoveries, memorable encounters, and surprises at every turn, as we come together to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the Afro LGBTQ+ community.
