It is an anti-oppressive space by and for Indigenous or racialized people of sexual and gender diversity communities where any form of violence (verbal, physical, sexual, etc.) is not tolerated.
In the same way that Pride is a safer space for people of sexual and gender diversity to exchange, heal, live, love, and be themselves among their peers, the Safer Space for indigenous or racialized people from sexual and gender diversity communities provides a place for BIPOC folks to feel the same sense of safety sharing with people who identify as members of that group.
To all Indigenous or racialized queer and trans people: this space is for you! Come meet various community organizations working by and for QTBIPOC people and socialize with otherse sharing a similar experience to yours.
