At Fierté Montréal, we believe in the importance of strong and engaged governance to uphold our mission and amplify the voices of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We are excited to announce changes within our Board of Directors.
Serving as Board Secretary since December 2023, Marie-Michelle Grenier now takes on the role of Vice-President, bringing her expertise and reaffirming her commitment to our organization. Marie-Michelle is a prosecutor for the DPJ at the CISSS de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue and the President of Aide aux Trans du Québec.
A member of the Board of Directors since December 2023, Marlot Marleau now takes on the role of Secretary and Chair of the Ethics and Governance Committee, a dual key position to ensure the sound governance of Fierté Montréal. They also serve as Vice-President of the Quebec LGBT Chamber of Commerce and work at Aéroports de Montréal.
We are also pleased to welcome Sonia Ziadé as a new board member. As Vice-President of Operations and Corporate Development at the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Montreal, she will bring her experience and strategic vision to support our growth and initiatives.
These changes reflect our commitment to having a Board of Directors that represents the communities we serve by engaging individuals from 2SLGBTQIA+ communities who possess the skills, expertise, and lived experiences necessary to ensure the healthy, transparent, and inclusive governance of Fierté Montréal.
